TMU's Internet Users can access McAfee Antivirus

TMU’s Center for Information Technology offers McAfee Antivirus to its users by filing an application in the Help Desk system. According to the Center for Information Technology, McAfee Anti-Virus has good capabilities for protecting computers against external threats, such as viruses and malware, and is more sensitive than other similar tools, such as ESET (Antivirus). It is also possible to remove system executable files such as software cracks from the user's system. It is worth mentioning that installing and removing the new antivirus will only be done by filing an application in HelpDesk and by the relevant specialist to manage and control the virus and security threats of the systems. If the user is dealing with a specific software, he should consult with the experts before installing the software program. The users will be responsible for the problems caused by system infections due to the use of non-original software.
