    Postmodernism, as an intellectual, philosophical and cultural phenomenon, is the disobedient child of modernism, that in a critical dialectical relationship with it, based on elements such as denial of rationalism and rejection of Essentialism, denial of the domination of science, negation of Metanarrative, violation of certain duplications and deconstruction... In contrast to rationalism, Essentialism , the Scientism and the centralization of modernism, following the mental and intellectual crisis of civilized man arose in the West the aftermath of the two world wars. Quranic Stories and Narratology: Researchers’ Critical Methods and Approaches

    Soraya Rahimi, Khalil Parvini
    Journal PapersArabic Literature , Volume 12 , Issue 3, 2020 November 21, {Pages 25-48 }

    Abstract

    The study of the narrative structure of texts has had a significant influence on literary criticism. This influence has even spread to the analysis of Quranic stories so that these stories have become an arena for the application of the methods of narrative criticism. By examining the articles that have studied the stories of the Quran through these theories, we encounter a large number of works that have employed various methods in their analysis. This study, in order to investigate how narratology is used in the critique of Quranic stories, analyzes the articles written in this field. We do not merely introduce these works, but, with an analytical method, examine different critical approaches in the papers published in scientific-research

    Spiritual Poverty in Islam: Strategies to Eliminate It from the Perspective of the Holy Qur’an and Narratives with a Look at Spiritual Health

    Journal PapersInternational Journal of Multicultural and Multireligious Understanding , Volume 7 , Issue 10, 2020 November 2, {Pages 60-69 }

    Abstract

    Man has two stages of existence and two real and material selves, whose humane self is a breath that has been descended from the kingdom of heaven to be the caliph of God on earth. Man's neglect of his spiritual dimension has caused him to forget the truth and originality of his existence, which is the meaning of spiritual poverty. If man can establish a close connection with his real life and with God Almighty, he will move away from spiritual poverty and will achieve true spiritual health and peace. Since man instinctively does not want to be harmed, if the problem of spiritual poverty is fundamentally solved, not only the individual but also the society will be safe from harm. The most important way to get rid of spiritual poverty is to

    Abstract

    The current era, despite the many advances in communication, technology, scientific and economic development that has taken place in it, not only has not brought security and mental and spiritual peace for human beings; rather, it has added to the mental pressures, worries, anxieties, and inseparable material and worldly attachments. Some people in this period have neglected their origin and have become confused. If a person neglects the spiritual dimension of his existence and forgets the truth of his existence and his originality, he will suffer from spiritual poverty. Spiritual poverty with its harmful damages has many adverse effects on the spiritual life of man and causes anxiety, worry and stress for him and endangers his mental and p

    A Review of Al-Mutanabbi in Adonis’s Al-Ketab in the Light of Harold Bloom's Anxiety of Influence Theory

    Khalil Parvini, Kobra Roshanfekr
    Journal Papers , Volume 27 , Issue 2, 2020 August 10, {Pages 17-Jan }

    Abstract

    Harold Bloom's" anxiety of influence" theory is one of the postmodern flows influenced by Nietzsche's philosophy and Oedipus Freud's theory of relationship between poets and critics, relying on two terms" backward" and" predecessor". Based on this theory, every poet tries to free himself from the anxiety of his influence by employing different mechanisms and proving his independence from the predecessor. Ignoring the extent to which this theory can be applied to all poets and critics, as Harold Bloom puts it. The study of the poetic collection" Al-Ketab", in the present moment" and the assignment of this collection to the text, along with the recitation of the poet's life and poetry by Adonis, are the main motivation. The authors used a des

    New Historicism and the Rejection of the Grand Narratives in the Poetry of Adonis: A Critical Study in the “Concerto Al-Quds’’as a Model

    Journal PapersQuarterly of Arabic Language and Literature , Volume 16 , Issue 1, 2020 April 1, {Pages 75-103 }

    Abstract

    We have chosen from the broad manifestations of postmodernity in Adonis' poetry, his violation of the grand narratives, because it is the central axis in the emergence of relativism in postmodern philosophy, which Adonis has emphasized in the Concerto Al-Quds collection. We have found that the image of "Al-Quds" is surrounded by many questions and doubts about its historical facts and the grand narratives that it carries in the consciousness of Muslims in general. What we intended by this paper was to examine the impact of postmodernism, as a Western thought, on the addressed poet leading to re-create the meaning of Al-Quds, as it was not just a place in a geographical spot, but rather a symbol of religion and a place of truth in which bloo

    Religion and Post-Modernism challenges in Adonis poems: An Epistemological Approach

    Khalil Parvini, Kobra Rawshanfekr, Seyyed Hossain Hossaini
    Journal PapersRays of Criticism in Arabic and Persian , Volume 9 , Issue 35, 2019 December 1, {Pages Sep-31 }

    Abstract

    The philosophical basis of postmodernism, especially in cosmological sphere, is on the lack of the belief in the metaphysics and the skepticism in efficiency of religious framework for understanding human essence which is based on rationality, instinct and revelation. The sovereignty of language is very important in this trend, because the language from this point of view is the essential device for understanding values and their mechanisms. Within the postmodern ideology, language and all its manifestations are understood as cultural symbols outside the realm of "absolutism". This attitude led to impose "relativism" and "individualism" upon the exhaustive principles (grand narratives) that were earlier considered universal. This philosophi

    Language Dominance and Truth Formation in Postmodernism: A Study in the Poetry of Adonis “Be careful o, blind!“as a Model

    Khalil Parvini, Seyed Hossain Hossaini
    Journal PapersStudies on Arabic Language and Literature , Volume 10 , Issue 29, 2019 September 1, {Pages 91-114 }

    Abstract

    Postmodern thought in its cognitive system considers language to be superior to existence and knowledge and considers it the basis of the creation of values. This view does not accept any absolute belief in its epistemological system. Language dominance and, consequently, post-structuralism and deconstruction, separate the sign from the signifier and do not give it a specific meaning. In this language game, language is a set of slippery slopes that have no centrality. In our reading of the poetry of Adonis, we have seen this intellectual tendency in his rich and creative works. Adonis believes in the supremacy and control of language, without a doubt, and rejects the centrality of meaning, something which is very clear in his poetry. What i

    Abstract

    One of the most prominent features of the self, regarding the innate dimension and identity, is manifested through the negotiation and encounter with the other as an effective and opposing element. Therefore, the other is reflected and manifested through establishing communication with the self. This communication might be demonstrated in various forms, for instance, a positive and friendly interaction, negotiation and dialogue, or dialectic. Whatever this communication is, it results in leading the self to the manifestation and interpretation of itself

    Abstract

    Intellectual and cultural invasion, a new type of colonialism, makes it possible to alienate nations without war. The reflection of such an invasion on identity appears sometimes as schizophrenic symptoms, which turn the colonized into psychos alienated and disconnected from reality. Since issues such as I-Other challenge, and its clear manifestation, namely duality of East/West, are among the most important concepts of post-colonial literary criticism, post-colonial literature, especially the novel, has widely discussed the problem of identity. Arab writers have repeatedly referred to the encounter of the East and the West, and its reflection on post-colonial identity. Using the East-West encounter in the form of men and women relationship
